Rush Street, Culver City, CA
Rush Street restaurant in Culver City, CA is a fun place to eat all day! While out with my friend, we had the mesquite turkey burger & fries (with avocado, pickled red onion, arugula, chipotle cranberry sour cream, and pepper jack cheese), sweet potato fries, and the white truffle pizza. Although, when I was eating it at the restaurant, I knew I wanted pears on the pizza. I took the pizza home and added sliced pears and it made it SO much better! Rush Street is fun, but they need to think about the drinks they are serving with the food they offer. Just a few changes to the menu and it could be a great restaurant!

Nickel Diner
The Nickel Diner has become famous for their homemade desserts and pastries. I HAD to try their Vanilla Cream Filled Devil's Food Cupcake, which is basically a homemade ding dong! It was so moist and amazing! I also tried the Salt Peanut Cake with multiple delicious layers. It is made with Peanut Butter and Potato Chips - Yum!
Although I had breakfast, but I truly cannot remember what I had before these desserts! I remember the breakfast was good, but the desserts were fantastic! They make a Maple Bacon Doughnut and Mixed Berry Pop-Tart, too. But, they were all sold out by the time I arrived... Maybe next time!!
Keep In Mind: They are closed Mondays.

Mama D's Italian Kitchen
I went to Mama D's on a whim. I was out and about with a friend when we decided to have dinner. We were looking up and down the street when I spotted Mama D's. As soon as you walk into Mama D's, you are blasted by the sweet smell of garlic.

I had Mama D's Original Pink Sauce (Fresh grated parmesan cheese and cream blended in marinara sauce) with angelhair pasta and a meatball

The atmosphere was warm, fun, and family oriented. The food was just amazing! I am in love with everything we had! I want to eat there again...tonight!

Barnacles Bar & Grill: Barns Cali Chicks
I was out with a friend in Hermosa Beach when she said "if you want good bar food, we should check out Barnacles." I had no idea the food was so fantastic! I had the Barns Cali Chicks and a Blue Moon. the Barns Cali Chicks are 3 mini Cajun chicken sandwiches, topped with bacon, avocado and jack cheese on sweet Hawaiian rolls. They are SO GOOD! I am shocked that these spicy Cajun chicken on sweet Hawaiian rolls with bacon and avocado came out of a dive bar. I ADORE dive bars. They always have friendly staff and customers and they are DARK - which is what I look for in a dive bar. They came with these fantastic french fries with the skin left on. The Barns Cali Chicks at Barnacles are spicy, sweet, salty, and so good! If you are in Hermosa Beach, check out Barnacles and their Barns Cali Chicks - You won't be disappointed!
