Pitfire pizza is an 'Artisan' pizza joint with a nice beer selection. The pizza crust is crispy outside with a chewy inside. The topping selection is amazing! pictured are the specials of the night; first is the pumpkin and pepita pizza, second is the red potato, bacon and grilled onion special. The Best Churro I've Ever Had

I just had the best Churro ever! It was from Costco. Yeah, that's right! It came from Costco's food court and it was just $1. Costco has a sports-stadium style food court with hot dogs, pizza, hand-dipped ice cream bars, soda and CHURRO'S! The food is cheap and fresh. The churro was crispy on the outside with lots of sugar and cinnamon with a large fluffy center. I was in my car eating it when I realized it was the best churro I've ever had. So, I got another one and started to take photos with my phone.
Go out and treat yourself to a churro for $1!

Honey's Kettle, Culver City

Honey's Kettle in Culver City is very crispy. The chicken doesn't really become fantastic until you dip it in some honey. Then, it becomes sweet, juicy, crispy fried chicken! I highly recommend the mashed potatoes. The gravy has tiny pieces of chicken!! The biscuits are flakey and buttery. The biscuits are so delicate that they break apart when dipped in the honey.
They have different dipping sauces: Honey, Hot Sauce, and Honey Hot Sauce.
They also have fried sweet peppers... a little greasy, but still tasty!

The best fried chicken at cheap prices. Honey's Kettle in Culver City is highly recommended!!

Essential Chocolate Treats

The homemade ding-dong from Essential Chocolate Desserts is rich, amazing, and absolutely delectable! It is a Devil's Food cake with vanilla buttercream and a chocolate shell. It melts in your mouth like butter!
Essential Chocolate Desserts in Culver City, Los Angeles, California also has amazing Red Velvet Cheesecake Ice Cream. The red velvet cake is mixed into the cheesecake ice cream - DIVINE! The ice cream filled my mouth with a mellow, tangy sweetness and had the cake texture. I noticed the cake in the ice cream was not soggy. I wonder how they have the cake in ice cream without it becoming soggy. Essential Chocolate Desserts has this Red Velvet Cake Ice Cream made just for them. When you go, get a sample of the Red Velvet Cheesecake Ice Cream!!
Also, the rainbow colored moon pie looked amazing!

SRF Lakeshrine Temple

I visited the Self-Realization Fellowship, Lakeshrine Temple on Sunset Blvd. I walked along the trail and wanted to stop and read, but I had no book with me. It was very peaceful. I highly recommend a visit to the SRF Temple. It is amazing to think that Los Angeles has this peaceful place when it is such a busy city. If you need a place to find peace, check it out!

The Godmother from Bay Cities Deli

At Bay Cities Deli in Santa Monica you must have The Godmother. It is a fantastic Italian sub with amazing bread, deli meats, and dressing. I love to get them pre-made. They are in a basket on the deli counter and they are usually still warm. I got the Godmother with the works: Genoa Salami, Mortadella, Coppacola, Ham, Prosciutto, Provolone with mayo, mustard, onions, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, Italian dressing, and a mild pepper salad. (You can get it with the hot pepper salad, too!) It was so amazing! The bread is soft, but with a crispy outer crunch. The deli meats are freshly sliced and the flavors are melt-in-your-mouth good. Because the Italian dressing is so good, when lettuce or bits of the sandwich fall, I scoop them up! Even when I get a pre-made Godmother, the tangy Italian dressing does not make the bread soggy and the veggies inside are crispy and fresh.

As you can see from the photos, I love it with Orangina!

What is your favorite sandwich from Bay Cities Deli??
Wha

Tidbits of Info:
They are closed Mondays.
They make pre-made Godmother subs. Both hot and mild. These are just as good as having one made while you wait, but these are BETTER because you don't have to wait!
Beware of all the candy and goodies by the registers. Imported candy is my favorite type of treat. Check out what candy treat I got.
The "Hot" Godmother sandwich is not too spicy, but it has a nice little kick.

A great hamburger

This was a fantastic burger! I LOVE hamburgers, but this was so good! Johnny Rockets has amazing shakes, but this hamburger was so yummy! I had The Original which has a toasted bun, lots of lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. The right amount of mayo and mustard, too. I do not like a burger that falls apart or is soggy from the condiments. I would highly recommend any Johnny Rockets Restaurant in Los Angeles. I went to the one off Melrose.
